Nidaplast honeycombs are well adapted either for interior or exterior applications in the building sector.

Our honeycombs can be used for flat or curved big panels.  These panels will then be stiff, light, and easy to handle.  The polypropylene core is rot-proof and totally waterproof.  The polyester non woven applied on each side of the honeycomb allows the gluing of a large range of facings such as metal, wood, or stone, but also the lamination of fiberglass reinforced polyester skins.

Sandwich panels are great for architectural applications.  Use them for anything that needs to be lightweight, stiff, impact resistant, and water proof.

-Embedded mounting receivers

FRP skins are used alone or to create sandwich panels.  Thicknesses range from 1/16" (1.6mm) to about 3/16" (4.7mm).  Fiberglass chop strand mat and woven roving reinforcements are available to suit your cosmetic or structural needs.  

Skins are available in any solid color or custom design, matte, high gloss, textured, anti-slip, fire retardant, self extinguishing, and low density. 

It's amazing that the only difference between these two sandwich panels is the core.  Nidaplast honeycombs offer more impact resistance than any other core we're aware of.

Nidaplast Honeycombs are excellent at absorbing unwanted vibrations (noise) due to their viscoelastic nature. 

If additional sound transmission reduction is desired, we have the flexibility to add mass loaded vinyl or any other desired layers to your sandwich panel.  Ask us how we can help achieve your sound reduction goals.
