Marine Gel Coat
When only the best will do, our DNV rated Maritime gel coats deliver.

Sprayable Print Blocking
Core Lite Fast Cure is a sprayable print blocking and structural coring material designed to eliminate print due to the high exotherm of laminates.
This is perfect in highly cosmetic areas where you want to retain a high gloss without any fiber print for perfect cosmetics. The smooth application allows leveling in tight and sharp areas, and eliminates the chances of air entrapment by the next layer of laminate where it is hard to lay down. Core lite is also great in screw retention around hinge areas as well as a perfect bonding agent for bedding reinforcement for added essential items such as cleats and seats.
Our unique formula applies smooth and does not sag, even at heavy applications, due to advanced thixotropic chemistry. Low VOC & very low exothermic peak. Apply Core Lite Fast Cure on top of your skin coat. Apply your bulk laminate on top of Core Lite Fast Cure after about 11 minutes.

Lamination Print Blocking
MATLINE is a low density core material used for print blocking. It's commonly saturated with resin and applied between the skin laminate and bulk laminate. It is also used as a lower density core material in place of reinforcing fibers to increase the laminate stiffness and physical thickness at the same weight or to retain existing stiffness at a lower weight.
Matline is highly conformable during laminating due to extra perforations that speed wet out and encourage drapability. It's easy to use and handle, and won't tear after saturating with resin. Matline is available in thicknesses ranging from 1mm to 5mm. The minimum recommended thickness for print blocking applications is 2mm.

Barrier Coat
Are you infusing your hull and want to skip the labor intensive process of applying a skin coat while retaining excellent hydrolysis resistance and cosmetics?
Apply one of our barrier coats in a thin layer between your gel coat and laminate, our VE or ISO NPG barrier coats offer an excellent barrier against hydrolysis and osmotic blistering with an improved gel coat surface appearance, limiting fiberglass print-through.
In case you didn't know, hydrolysis is any chemical reaction in which a molecule of water breaks one or more chemical bonds in gel coat or resin. If a boat sits in the water for an extended period, the gel coat and resin in the hull may experience hydrolysis. It's not possible to entirely avoid hydrolysis but it can be significantly slowed by using VE or ISO NPG gel coats, barrier coats, and skin coat resins.

Marine Resins
Whether you're chop spraying, hand laying, vacuum infusing or light resin transfer molding, we offer Vinyl Ester, Polyester, and hybrid resins that allow you to meet your design objectives.

Nidaplast Honeycombs for Marine
Nidaplast honeycomb core enables the production of lightweight and high performance sandwich structures.

Noise Reduction
Nidaplast honeycombs absorb more noise than traditional materials such as wood and foam cores. Even when a viscoelastic damping sheet is bonded to a wood core, Nidaplast is still more effective at reducing unwanted engine noise and vibrations.

Sandwich Panels
Sandwich panels are great for marine applications such as pontoon decks, stringers, bulkheads, interior walls, and head enclosures. Use them for anything that needs to be lightweight, stiff, impact resistant, and water proof.
Customize:
-Fiberglass reinforced skin on both sides of the core
-Core material
-Core thickness
-Panel shape/dimensions
-Pre-drilled mounting locations
-Embedded mounting receivers

Fiberglass Skins
FRP skins are used alone or to create sandwich panels. Thicknesses range from 1/16" (1.6mm) to about 3/16" (4.7mm). Fiberglass chop strand mat and woven roving reinforcements are available to suit your cosmetic or structural needs.
Skins are available in any solid color or custom design, matte, high gloss, textured, anti-slip, fire retardant, self extinguishing, and low density.

Nidaplast Impact Performance Video
It's amazing that the only difference between these two sandwich panels is the core. Nidaplast honeycombs offer more impact resistance than any other core we're aware of.

Recomp Board
Enjoy the performance of fiberglass reinforced polyurethane boards at a much lower cost.
Recomp is made up of 90%-94% recycled polyurethane, PET, PVC, and fiberglass re-aggregated under pressure with minimum percentages of virgin adhesives. The process is patented and generates a material that can be recycled again at the end of its life. Recomp board is available in densities ranging from 28 lb./ft^3 to 68 lb./ft^3 with mechanical properties comparable to fiberglass reinforced polyurethane boards. Recomp is excellent for use as a core in sandwich panels and can be drilled, milled, water jet cut, cut with a circular saw or jigsaw, glued, screwed, and laminated. Recomp is dimensionally stable, resistant to all environmental conditions, and has excellent insulation properties.

Fiberglass Reinforced Polyurethane Board
High-density, closed-cell polyurethane foam boards
reinforced with woven fiberglass fabric or continuous strand fiberglass are stronger than plywood but are not susceptible to warping or rotting when in contact with moisture.

Core Bedding
Core Lite Fast Cure assures that your core is adhered to the laminate without the chance of delamination between layers while adding stiffness and clarity to the part and decreasing the risk of cracking in radius areas of the part. A bevel can easily be made around the core for glass transition with Core Lite.

Composite Reinforcements
We offer a full range of Saertex products to allow significant weight reduction, energy savings, enhanced stiffness and corrosion resistance. We also offer chopper gun fiberglass roving and chop strand mat.

Pourable Transom Compound
Nidabond Pourable Transom Compound is becoming the standard for boat hull transoms, where extremely high compressive and flexural strengths and low exotherm in large masses are not only required, they're everything. Today's transoms hold more weight and power than ever before, and failure is not an option.
A higher viscosity version can be used as a core for through bolting marine hardware.

Vacuum Infusion & LRTM
We provide Diatex's full line of high performance infusion products.

Thermoforming
We can thermoform all thermoformable materials including Polycarbonate/ABS which is very popular in the marine industry for cosmetic items such as tables, lids, covers and storage wells. Thermoforming is also great for non-cosmetic items such as cooler inserts and live wells.

Structural Adhesives
We offer structural MMA, Epoxy, and Cyanoacrylate adhesives whether you need a 5 minute or 50 minute working time, 25% or 125% elongation, custom color, custom viscosity or thixotropy, or need to bond to unique materials.
